The five questions
- 1. Who is newly concerning?
- 2. Who improved?
- 3. Who needs contact or action today?
- 4. Which interventions are due for review?
- 5. Who owns each next action?
Ground rules
- Five minutes, standing, same time each day.
- Every item leaves with a role attached — no unowned actions.
- Discussion beyond two minutes moves to a scheduled team meeting.
- Name improvements out loud; noticing is an intervention.
What should happen next?
- Print the card and keep it where the huddle happens.
- End each huddle by reading back the owners and the review dates.
- Name who owns the next action, and when it will be reviewed.
