SARB Letter Trigger Points & Attendance Codes

Attendance codes and the day counts that trigger SARB Letter #1, SARB Letter #2, and a SARB hearing. Notification is the required step — the intervention work still happens alongside it.

A letter is a notification, not an intervention. At the Letter #2 trigger point, schedule the School Success Meeting and use it to identify and respond to the barrier.

Trigger points by absence code

Letters #1 and #2 go by first-class mail; the SARB hearing notice goes by registered mail.
